Animal Control Officers (ACO) are by-law enforcement and peace officers in the Province of Mantioba. The role of the ACO is to uphold and enforce local animal control by-laws. ACO's investigate citizens' complaints and concerns regarding domestic and livestock animal related incidents. They work with owners to ensure the safety of the community and it's animals. ACO's issue warnings and citations to owners and impound lost, stray and dangerous animals.
