The team at RAMS Animal Services can assist you in filing a complaint, pet licensing information, clarification on your local animal control by-laws, assistance with animal/pet related incidents, advising and assisting owners in responsible pet ownership, assisting our community/enforcement partners with pet and livestock related incidents and much more.
Double-check with family/house members on where your pet might/could be.
Do a thorough search of your home. Smaller cats and dogs may be hiding. Was there a storm or fireworks? Pets often get scared, run and hide.
Ask friends and family to search the neighbourhood/last place pet was seen.
Talk to your neighbours or houses surrounding the area the pet went missing from - maybe they’ve seen your pet. Ask for date and time information and give contact information for future sightings.
Call local vet clinics - people often bring stray pets to a vet. Ensure your pet's tattoo information is up to date with your current contact information. Call your vets office.
Post a photo of your pet on Social Media and share to local Town/Community Pages. We recommend you request direct messages with any information. Never provide your personal information on social media.
