Why are animals impounded?
Animals found “at large” in the jurisdictions we service are picked up and impounded because:
It is a violation under the local Municipal By-law, and
Stray & roaming animals create safety issues for communities and for the animals themselves.
Why are there fees for impounding my animal?
To support the care of animals, fees are charged for impoundment.
We encourage you to claim your lost animal as soon as possible, in order to keep impound fees to a minimum.
How can I pay the impound fees?
We take any form of payment excluding personal cheques.
